  • From right here on this site! I only accept inquiries/requests through my tattoo request form. Click “TATTOO” above to get started. Feel free to send me your ideas!

  • I currently work out of The Darkside Tattoo located in Grand Forks, ND, USA.

    You can find a GPS map location on the contact page above.

  • At the time of your appointment I do accept cash, card, or Venmo. Please note that card or Venmo have a processing fee of 5%.

    Cash is preffered.

  • My current rate is $150/hour, with a minimum of $100. Any pieces under 2 hours are determined by size, detail, and location on the body.

    (When giving an estimate I try to provide the maximum price first, to allow for proper budgeting.)

  • Yes of course! Keep in mind that my minimum is 100. If you’d like more than one smaller piece, I suggest potentially getting them at the same appointment to avoid paying the set up fee for both.

  • Yes, but I prefer to do most consultations via email. If needed we can schedule an in-person consultation.

    If you are an out of town client we an also consult via zoom

  • Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Deposits are taken off of the price of your tattoo the day of (if your tattoo requires multiple appts the deposit is taken off at your last appt).

    Any appointments rescheduled with less than two days’ notice or more than twice will forfeit their existing deposit and a new one will be required to rebook.

    *If there happens to be an act of nature (such as blizzard or bad storm) to which it is deemed unsafe to travel via interstate you will not lose your deposit should your appointment fall under that time

  • I aim to reply to all requests within one week, however, sometimes it may be a little longer. I will respond to all requests. If you haven’t heard from me and feel your request may have been missed - feel free to send a follow-up email to tattoo@erinstattoos.com after 2 weeks have elapsed.

  • Almost all designs will be shown on the day of your appointment. I do allot extra time for minor changes on the day of your appointment.

    Please familiarize yourself with my body of work on my Instagram to ensure my style matches what you are looking for.

  • Please do NOT apply any numbing cream before your appointment. If you have a numbing cream in mind please bring it with you to your session. Applying numbing cream before hand can cause issues with healing and the longevity of your tattoo.

  • Please let us know as soon as possible if you are not feeling well and need to reschedule your appointment. Any appointments rescheduled due to illness must be rescheduled within three months or the deposit may be forfeited.

  • Please give at least 7 days’ notice if you are wanting to change any of the details for your upcoming tattoo appointment. If giving less than 7 days’ notice a new deposit may be required if the idea is significantly different than what was originally booked. All idea changes are subject to approval and may require a new appointment and deposit to rebook.

  • Please give as much notice as you can if you cannot make your appointment.

    Deposits may be forfeited with less than 2 days’ notice, rescheduling an appt more than twice or if you are 20+ minutes late for your appt (with some exceptions).

  • Tipping is never mandatory but always appreciated! In North America, it is considered the norm to tip your tattoo artist based on their service. Tips are greatly appreciated and tend to follow the standard tip guide of anywhere between 10-25+%.

  • After your tattoo session, you need to wait at least 1 month for the tattoo to fully heal. If you feel it needs a touch-up the first session is complimentary.

    *If you are getting a new tattoo and would like a touchup during your session, charges need not apply as the set up fee is already covered.

    *If it is apparent that you need a touch-up due to negligent aftercare you will be charged the minimum to cover set up fees. Please note touch-ups only include touching up what is already there. Adding to a piece, however small, will be subject to additional fees.

    *Finger tattoos and some feet tattoos are exempt from free touch-ups due to the nature of the skin there.

  • 24 hours prior-

    -Avoid alcohol or any mood-altering recreational substances until after your session. -Drink lots of water/electrolytes and eat well-balanced meals. Get a good night’s rest, and limit caffeine and nicotine use.

    Day/morning of - Eat a meal before your appointment.

    -Avoid nicotine and caffeine (less then 100 mg caffeine is okay, nobody wants caffeine withdrawal)

  • Yes! My booth is a bit small, so please bring no more than two people with you for support.

  • Tattoos are as personal as we all are. I create tattoos that are similar to your inspiration pictures. I won’t copy-paste someone else’s tattoo.

  • The day of your appointment you’ll need a form of government ID. ex: passport, drivers license, etc.

    *I do have to make a copy of it for your consent form, please no military IDs. Civilian/State IDs work best.
